Audience journey through the year

From a moviegoer’s perspective, the 2026 horror year offers pattern and spread. There is IP strength where it matters, filmmaker vision where it matters, and a calendar that shows studios sense the cadence of scares. The awards and festival pipeline into 2027 will come into focus once the fall festivals lock, and it would not be surprising to see at least one late-breaking specialty acquisition join the party. For now, the job is simple, edit tight trailers, lock the reveals, and let the fear sell the seats.
